Why subscribe?

We don’t need hope, we need a plan. And we need it to be achievable, specific, and radical. Adapt : Survive : Prevail is a newsletter about just such a plan. It’s my vision for a personal and collective response to the ecological crisis that is pushing our civilization toward collapse.

Through the lens of eco-socialism, permaculture, and homesteading, I explore how we ought to navigate a uniquely dire moment in our social, political, economic, and ecological history. I neither downplay the severity of the crisis, nor use it as an excuse for nihilism: The goal is to win a better future with the cards we’ve been dealt.
